New Song News/Oya Fest - Track by Track

The Go! Team have revealed on their Facebook page that Satomi Matsuzaki from Deerhoof will be guesting on vocals on a track entitled 'Secretary Song' on the forthcoming Go! Team album. The band have also confirmed they've been in discussions regarding the new album and touring again. Check out their Facebook entries here and start getting very excited indeed. Mike Courteau has once again been working his magic when it comes to Go! Team watchables. Mike has broken down, track by track, the entire 2007 Oya Festival gig from the NRK TV website and posted them all up on YouTube. Well done that man! Check out on his YT channel here.

'In Heaven, Everything is Fine...'

At least it will be on the 8th February 2011 when The Go! Team play their first major gig in the capital for quite some time, at London club Heaven. For pre-sales go here. The band have also added another date - the Gogol Festival in Kiev on the 11th of September. Plus they have a stunning new-look website  up and running - check it out here. In the meantime it's Leicester tomorrow, a bunch of us are on route as we speak - check back soon (subject to my laptop being fixed in time) for a full report - and maybe more!

New Songs Up On YouTube

Another storming set from The Go! Team tonight at Summer Sundae in Leicester, with the two new songs getting another airing - and blimey they're good!
